The Story Behind GAS COFFEE

It all started with a road trip. 

As avid adventurers we've always loved spending our free time traversing the continent and immersing ourselves in the natural world. Over the years we've had many cups of coffee with people that we've met on the road, which is how GAS COFFEE was born. At the time starting a coffee company seemed like a far away daydream, something to pursue in 10 years maybe, but it was the people we met that made us change our minds. They had fearless spirits, daring to try, and ever-curious for the next destination. So we thought, why not? Coffee has always been the path that we wanted to pursue.

Making the decision to start a coffee business was incredibly scary, but we found solace through hiking in the many national parks Australia is known for. Once you found yourself standing at the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, you will find that all of your worries will simply peel away. This was the kind of adventure that made the idea of serving coffee in far-off, rugged places feel even more real.

Thus GAS COFFEE was founded on an interconnecting love of coffee and travelling. Inspired by days spent on the road, we envisioned the possibility of serving premium coffee anywhere, from beside a campfire to sunbathing next to the sea. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains unwavering. We aim to fuel your day in motion, whether you’re a city dweller, an outdoor enthusiast, or somewhere in between.
